Our Team

Darain Hayes

Darain is the Founder and Co-Owner of D. HAYES & DAVIS and a graduate from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management and over 25 years of construction experience. From 1988 to 2015, Darain has been in the National Guard active duty and Army Reserves, Combat Engineer, and Logistics. He is medically retired from active duty at Fort Hood as an E-8 Master Sergeant.

His background in managing pipeline construction, fiber optic installations, and rail yard construction includes buildings and underground utilities ranging from 10k to 163M. He has been a laborer, foreman, superintendent, and project manager. This experience has allowed Darain to be a problem solver with a positive attitude. His unwavering commitment to excellence and core values, upon which D. HAYES & DAVIS was founded, are a direct reflection of the company’s everyday operations. Darain has gained experience as a Track Superintendent for Ragnar Benson Construction and 14 years as a Project Manager for Kansas City Railroad. This progression has enabled D. HAYES & DAVIS the ability to recognize and secure the best-qualified personnel in the industry.

Rickey Davis

As Vice President of the Fields Operation and Co-Owner, Rickey’s expertise lies in meeting the demanding day-to-day requirements of the business, making sure that field operations are running smoothly. He has 35 years of experience in the commercial and residential construction industry, serving in various positions of leadership. After gaining valuable experience in the field, Rickey has taken on the role of a project manager and estimator where he has continued to demonstrate his value to the company. He has a Business Management degree along with experience in managing and estimating construction of facilities, commercial drywall projects, roof rebuilding and repairs, demolition, plan and specification general contracting, rebuilding and repairing levees, as well as various specialty projects. Rickey believes in the importance of attention to detail and communication at all levels at D. HAYES & DAVIS and assures our clients we are delivering superior professional results. Some notable projects that Rickey has worked on are Wal-Mart Makeovers, The Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and so many more huge projects.

Michele Davis

Michele joined D. HAYES & DAVIS as the Cheif of Operations and Co-Owner. She is a graduate of Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting. She has accomplished over 20 years of implementing and developing creative ideas for various companies. She has extraordinary experience with brand management, product launches, promotions, event planning, and public relations. Michele is a dynamic, innovative, imaginative, and strategic thinker and an effective goal-driven leader. Her past roles have ranged from Executive Vice President to Promotion Manager. She has achieved significant results by increasing sales with successful product launches, identifying progress after implementing knowledge of the product with training classes, developing branding opportunities, executing product launch plans for new products, and developing marketing plans and strategies based on business objectives. She is a skilled professional with the ability to create, communicate, and build agreement on the sharing of a high-level business vision.

Her expertise lies in the area of meeting all demanding day-to-day obligations at D. HAYES & DAVIS. She shares a unique quality and professionalism with the people, which plays a role in delivering stellar customer service and workmanship to our customers. It is very important to Michele that she develops her leadership skills with a team of seasoned operations professionals to position the company for continued growth and success.

Tyrone Hagans

Tyrone is an intergral part and partner of D. HAYES & DAVIS. He is the General Superintendent with more than 30-years of experience and has been recognized as one of the best in the business. He has overseen all phases of multimillion-dollar construction, infrastructure, projects for government and private-sector clients. Experience includes managing large crews in levee reconstruction, driving sheet piling for pumping stations, canals, sub-divisions, and fresh-water diversion, and a variety of other construction/demolition projects. Backed by strong credentials and a proven history of on-time, on budget, and high-quality project completions.

Tyrone has a vital role and responsibility for the overall direction and completion of each D. HAYES & DAVIS projects. Some extraordinary projects that Tyrone has worked on : Buras Levee Rebuilding and Repair Project in Buras, Louisiana, Rebuilding the Levee in Kenner Louisiana, Building Airport Roads and Golf Course Roads in Beaumont and Dallas, Texas just to name a few of his many accomplishments.

Olya Tabary

Olya joined D. HAYES & DAVIS as an accountant. She is a graduate of Zaporizhzhye State University in Ukraine with a Bachelor in Operation Management, University of New Orleans as Pre-CPA, Bachelor in Spanish Linguistics and Masters in Accountancy with over 15 years of experiance in accounting, international business and private communication, exellent track record in efficient operations and customer problem resolution under pressure. Olya’s background lies in transportation industry as an import manager and accountant, medical diagnostics imaging as the diagnostic center co-owner, public accounting as a financial analyst.
